A new social enterprise held its grand opening celebration on April 22 in Colorado Springs.
Powered by Pikes Peak Community Foundation, The Philanthropy Collective represents a consortium of philanthropic organizations and individuals working collaboratively to address the Pikes Peak Region's most significant challenges and actualize its potential. Working together, for good, The Philanthropy Collective is open to any foundation or philanthropic-minded entity looking to create transformational change in the region.
Funded through mission-related investments by six foundations, The Philanthropy Collective is a co-working space in a rehabilitated building in downtown Colorado Springs that fosters an innovative and collaborative environment. Nine foundations and philanthropic enterprises, representing approximately $1 billion in assets, call The Philanthropy Collective home. Additional offices, hot desks, and meeting spaces are available for the broader philanthropic community. One half of the building houses The Philanthropy Collective with the other half occupied by The Well, a food hall and community gathering place that funds the overall investment.
