The Donor Support and Database Coordinator position works as part of the Philanthropy team to support and coordinate high-quality, strategic, and customized interactions with donors that foster long-term engagement and growing investment with the NoCo Foundation.

The position is responsible for managing the donor relation items in the database system and ensuring accurate constituent records. The position conducts regular data audits, prepares reports on prospective donors, and provides data analysis to support advancement activities. By creating accurate reports, assisting with donor communication activities, and ensuring data accuracy, the position helps foster long-term relationships with donors and community stakeholders.

Additionally, the position works across the entire organization to provide staff support and seamless service delivery for donors and fundholders, including assistance with outreach, customer service, event planning, and strategic communication activities.

A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and priorities and display excellent customer service skills. Strong experience in database management is preferred.

 

Donor Relationships:

  • In collaboration with the Philanthropy team, this position serves as a customer service contact for donors. This includes responding to donor inquiries, assisting with outreach, event planning, and communication activities, and ensuring timely updates among key team members on donor activities and action items.

Database and Technology Tools:

  • Serves as the primary staff resource for managing donor relation items in the constituent database (CommunitySuite by Foundant), including ensuring timely and accurate updates to constituent and fund information, establishing and carrying out best practices for entering and maintaining quality data, and remaining up-to-date with database software capabilities to support organizational activities.
  • Coordinates with staff throughout the organization to prepare timely reports and lists in support of communication, marketing, and fundraising activities.
  • Conducts prospect research to update and ensure accurate constituent contact information and provide timely information to support communication and fundraising activities.

Weekly Grantmaking:

  • Serves as the backup for the primary weekly grantmaking processes, including entering, processing, and distributing grants as outlined in the Philanthropic Services Manual.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work across the organization to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate constituent data collection and reporting.
  • Provides high-quality customer service to donors, constituents, and stakeholders.
  • Assists with projects assigned by members of the Philanthropy Team, including the Eastern Colorado office.
  • Serves as backup to the front desk including greeting guests, answering the main phone line, and helping to set up meetings.
  • Notifies communications team of opportunities to highlight donors.
  • Supports administrative processes for scholarship and competitive grant cycles.
