Learn about which climate action policies passed this legislative session and what we might see next year and how a nonprofit organization worked alongside the community to create climate action policies with their allies in the Colorado Senate. Featured speakers to include:

  • Naomi Amaha, Director of Policy & Government Affairs, Denver Foundation with a high-level overview of state-wide climate action policies that passed this legislative session, and priorities moving forward.
  • Kelly Nordini, CEO & Beatriz Soto, Protégete Director, Conservation Colorado, and Colorado Senator Coleman that they work closely with

There will be time for peer network members to share the latest on their work related to this topic and overall. Please come ready to share!

The Climate Action Philanthropy Network is focused on opportunities for sharing and potential collaboration on ways to address climate issues through philanthropic grants, investments, advocacy and policy change. The meetings are held quarterly and focus on a priority area, a speaker(s), and ways to support (grant, investment, and/or policy support).
